In this passage, the author talks about something new in the world market -- Chinese products, with improved quality and design, are going to the international markets under their own brands. However, the process can be like a Long March, because Chinese enterprises do not have much marketing savvy and expertise in introducing their brands to the world. Nor do they have sufficient funds to do so, due to the restriction imposed by the Central government. In the meantime, Chinese enterprises are cooperating with foreign companies by means of joint venture, mergers and acquisitions, which benefits both -- to get Chinese products and brands to the world and to increase the market share of their products in China.
